Darr was a two-year starter at Chandler-Gilbert Community College for former Razorback catcher and head coach Doyle Wilson. Sophomore (2006): Darr batted
.291 with seven doubles, three triples, a home run and 26 RBI … also scored 20 runs and stole five bases. Freshman (2005): Darr hit .271 in 50 games as a freshman with
21 RBI and nine stolen bases … collected seven doubles and three triples. |

Senior (2004): He was the Team MVP after hitting .485 with 17 doubles, nine home runs and 50 RBI … was the Fiesta Region Player of the Year and named to the Arizona Republic 5A all-state team. Junior (2003): Darr batted .400 with four home runs and 34 RBI … named first-team all-region. |
