The History

The 2004 squad became the fifth group of Razorbacks to advance to the
College World Series held annually at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dave Van Horn guided the Razorbacks to a share of the 2004 SEC title in just
his second season as head coach.
The
Razorbacks have appeared in 16 NCAA Tournaments including six in the last nine
years.
The Razorbacks have had 21 players earn All-America honors and 75 take all-conference
honors.
Arkansas has five College World Series appearances.
Former Razorback player and current head coach Dave Van Horn was a part of the
Hogs' College World Series teams in the 1980s and has three CWS appearances as
a head coach.

Game Razorback players have played for 27 of the 30 teams in Major League Baseball
Former Razorback Eric Hinske was named the 2002 American League Rookie of the
Year Former Razorback Scott Pose was the first hitter to come to the plate for
the expansion Florida Marlins in 1993
